Glomerular Filtration Rate (GFR) Calculator according to the CKD-EPI equation. This is the latest version from 2021, currently recommended, no longer taking ethnicity into account (a criterion that has never demonstrated clinical utility and is likely to contribute to the documented discrimination in access to care).

GFR (CKD-EPI) Calculator

Formula

GFR (CKD-EPI 2021) = 142 x (Scr/A)B x 0.9938age x (1.012 if female)

As follows:

  • For a woman:
    • If Scr < 0.7: A = 0.7 and B = -0.241
    • If Scr > 0.7: A = 0.7 and B = -1.2
  • For a man:
    • If Scr < 0.9: A = 0.9 and B = -0.302
    • If Scr > 0.9: A = 0.9 and B = -1.2
